On Thursday 3rd March, Elmwood Junior School celebrated World Book Day! Every pupil received a £1 Book Token that was sponsored by National Book Tokens. Children and staff dressed up as their favourite characters with special prizes awarded! Children and adults shared in their love of reading by listening to audio books, watching a video message from ‘Jamie Johnson’ series author Dan Freedman and completing a variety of activities including ‘Where’s Wally?’ and book illustrations and presentations. Well done everyone!
