We are delighted to announce that the school has again achieved the Gold Schools Games Mark in recognition of all the different sporting activities and achievements children and staff enjoyed throughout the 2018/19 academic year. Well done to all the children at Elmwood for participating so enthusiastically in their PE/Games lessons and after school clubs. We also thank all the children who committed time to training for a sports team including Athletics, Football and Netball and who went on to represent the school so well in inter-school competitions across the borough. Particular thanks goes to Mrs Swan-Thompson and those members of staff, both from within the school and external agencies, who put so much work and enthusiasm into ensuring the children at Elmwood always have a wide range of exciting sporting opportunities to enjoy.
