Elmwood Junior School remains open with its during this period of extreme hot weather.
We are fortunate to have air conditioning in all of our classrooms, water is also available in all classes and we will be limiting the amount of time that pupils will spend outside in the heat and direct sunlight.
Temperatures are expected to drop back to 26c by Wednesday.
