Croydon Council is working with a design team on a project about the future of London Road. The project is engaging with existing community groups, residents, businesses and users of London Road. They would like to know:

  • What does London Road mean to you?
  • How do you use London Road?
  • How could London Road be improved?

The study will gather ideas for future improvements to public spaces along London Road. Some of these will be small improvements that can be implemented quickly, while others will be longer term project ideas. The project began in January, and the engagement period is being extended due to the current situation.

Whilst people are less able to get outside Croydon artist group, Turf Projects, have created a series of online activities for individuals and families. Follow a virtual and audio trail of London Road’s history, draw, create or write, then share your creations and thoughts with them online.
